Lontessa
Brand Visuals, Image Making, Web

For Lontessa's fashion series, we drew inspiration from Māori culture and the natural beauty of New Zealand to create visuals that reflect the brand's deep connection to its heritage and sustainability. By juxtaposing urban settings with wild, natural environments, we highlighted the duality of Lontessa's designs—grounded in tradition yet forward-looking in their sustainable approach. The rich, earthy tones and bold textures in the visuals were crafted to tell a story of elegance, craftsmanship, and respect for the environment.

Immersed in the rich tapestry of Māori culture and the wild majestic beauty of her native New Zealand.

This silk dress is inspired by New Zealand's 2018 bird of the year the Kererū, designed with a wrap-around goose feather skirt, to highlight the beauty of the Kereru's metallic green flecked with bronze and a purple sheen in celebration and to honour the Māori traditions over time.

This dress has walked the stage of Paris Fashion Week 2019.

"Layers of Red"
KāKā Flower Dress

Layers of Red Silk Chiffon, inspired by the New Zealand Kākā flower with its beak-like shapes shown as many small pieces made with sequin fabric around the neck.

Her matching hot pants, belt bleeds where her body moves, and her warrior's eyes dance straight towards you.

In a language that empowers and inspires, she wears LONTESSA.

"Green With Envy"
Nikau Dress

Her finger traced every angle on her body, like eve stuck to her leaf. She is naïve, but that is a trait she needs to survive in our world of metallic dreams and navy nightmares.

The Nikau dress is made from shantung silk and embellished with linear sequins. It captures the angular lines of the Nikau plant, the New Zealand palm tree.
