For Chinese New Year 2025, framethefolks partnered with Grain to create “The Table Where We Grew Up”, a campaign inspired by the warmth of family, shared memories, and the reunion table familiar to many. Leading the project from concept to execution, framethefolks handled the creative direction and full production, bringing Grain’s CNY menu to life through nostalgic yet contemporary storytelling that celebrates tradition, togetherness, and the flavours of home.

The key visuals were shaped through a considered art direction that drew from familiar domestic settings and the emotional language of the Chinese New Year reunion table. The visual system focused on warmth, texture, and lived-in details, creating a setting that felt authentic rather than staged. Each dish was carefully styled and captured within this environment to reflect how the menu would naturally appear when shared among family. By aligning the visual narrative closely with Grain’s Chinese New Year offerings, the campaign balanced nostalgia with modernity, allowing traditional flavours and contemporary interpretations to coexist seamlessly within the same table setting.
